jwvanderbeck,

do you know how this effects the jealousy between morrigan & leilana and your female character?

Let's say you're primary is a female, then you try to romance both morrigan and leilana.  Will that jealousy still exist between them or will leilana think you're not with morrigan?

Anyone run into this yet?  I have not had the issue but I haven't progressed far at all since I'm starting over.

I don't know for certain but that jealousy should still exist.

jwvanderbeck,

I have good news. I was able to replace the wav files for morrigan in the fsb file.  So when someone is using your mod all they will have to do is use the new FSB sound file I have and put it in their override directory.  Then morrigan will address the character as female ALWAYS.

Now I have to go through all 1200 wav files and replace them with ones that make sense for female/female.  Once I'm done i'll upload the file to bioware as a project. Then I'll link people to download your mod if that's cool with you?

Does anyone happen to know of a mod (or way to mod this directly with the toolset) that would cause NPCs to ignore relationships with other players? IE: a "no jealousy" mod of sorts?  Grin

Look here .... I've still got some problems with this Love Potion, but sometimes it works! Wink Great mod - really nice mod-creator!

Another nice addition to this, while you're modifying gender checks, would be to see if you can figure out a way to enable flirtation for same-sex romances.. I'm not sure whether the same situation exists for men talking to Zevran, but with women, all the flirtatious dialogue that men get with Leliana is not available, which I find both odd and annoying.

Alternatively, would you perhaps consider releasing the source code, so I can try to figure it out for myself?.. Obviously it would be better if you made the change though, as that would actually, you know... work.  Wink

Don't suppose you could add support for Isabela to this as well? She's the ship captain in the Pearl in Denerim that teaches Duelist.

Could you please add Bella, Anora and Kaitlyn so these potential love interest for male PC can be had by female PC?

Thanks. Smiley

For some reason when I installed 1.02a this mod seemed to stop working.

It worked fine with 1.02 but 1.02a seemed to do something.

UPDATE:

Yea morrigan still addresses you as male even though your character is female, but the (kiss her) options are gone.  I can't raise her status above warm.

I'm uninstalling the game and reinstalling with 1.02.

I'm also going to make sure i didn't mess up somewhere along the lines with a save game.

UPDATE:

Yes 1.02a breaks it.  She still addresses you as a male (even though your female) but I had no options for (kiss her) and the standing never went past warm.

It would be nice if someone else confirmed this.

I uninstalled 1.02a (by uninstalling DA completely), then reinstalled and applied 1.02 patch and recopied my save games and your mod works again.

hah yea, I'm sure this gets real annoying.   If you fee like giving me instructions on how to do it I could fix if you wanted and send it to you? I have vb.net & c# experience.   I have the toolset installed but I never got around to figuring out how to modify the core of the game.

You wouldn't happen to know how to make a female romance option for:

Isabela – Denerim, Pearl
Gheyna – Brecilian Forest, Dalish Camp
Kaitlyn – Redcliffe Villiage, Chantry
Bella – Redcliffe Villiage, Tavern
Guard – Fort Drakon, Prison Cell
Anora – Arl Eamon’s Estate, Her Room
Desire Demon – Redcliffe Castle/Fade

I would love to modify the core game files myself to allow this.  Any chance of you providing just a little insight on how to do this?

Do I just open up core game files with the toolset and edit variables accordingly and "flip them" so to say?

So searching for their tags is a time consuming process of trial and error I take it?

Does it start with editing gen00pt_class_race_gend.ncs with the toolset?
